Why, oh why, does a great pop band like Passion Pit continue to put out horrible videos?  Not once, but twice, the indie-poppers have put out a video for “Little Secrets”, and on both attempts have achieved a video that looks like it should be from the 90′s. I had just always assumed that the visual interpretations of such songs would be a bit more psychedelic and not so cliche. Dance-hall in the back of a grocery store and tons of up-close, live shots? Oh, well . . . just enjoy the sounds, I suppose.

In the midst of creating this forum and writing about music, sometimes I stumble upon things that happened ages ago  that I just have to shed light on one more time because it’s so great.

Passion Pit is undoubtedly one of the finer pop acts to debut in recent years for the simple ability to make people smile and make people dance. Run Toto Run apparently had the same goal in life and put together a great cover and nifty video for their “Sleepyhead” cover.

Thanks, belated, to My Old Kentucky Blog for helping me stumble upon this gem and revisit a great cover. [MOKB]
