[video] Zach Galifianakis SNL monologue

TrendRobot is, afterall, about pop-culture, and Saturday Night Live, at one time, was a pop-culture institution.  Things have been sadly lackluster in recent years with the exception of Jason Sudeikis, but last week’s episode was nothing less than brilliant with Zach Galifianakis at the helm.  The monologue alone set a new standard for comedy . . . I only wish that this short, stalky, bearded man could host every week.  It was even great to hear the little comment about “skinny kids in skinny jeans” while Hoobastank Vampire Weekend was the musical guest (if only he had mentioned boat shoes).
